Fighting to Keep Minors Out of Adult Court
In certain instances, a minor can be transferred to adult court for prosecution as an adult. That juvenile is then subject to adult court sentencing guidelines and, if convicted, could face jail or prison time and a permanent adult criminal record. Also, if transferred to adult court, juvenile records could be used against you in adult court.
